European Parliament divided over including dual nationals and the use of facial images in ECRIS-TCN system

No fewer than 272 amendments were submitted to the draft report by Daniel Dalton (ECR, Britain) on the proposal aimed at creating a centralised ECRIS-TCN system allowing for rapid verification if a member state holds conviction information on third country nationals(see EUROPE 11819).
