Spain on track to take charge of Galileo Security Monitoring Centre

According to two European sources consulted by EUROPE on Wednesday 10 January and Thursday 11 January, the Spanish project to take charge of the Galileo Security Monitoring Centre, a part of which is based in the United Kingdom, is the European Commission's favourite. 

According to one source, Poland and Germany have withdrawn from the procedure. Member states that are still in the running include Belgium, Italy, Portugal, Romania and Spain. The Commissioner for Industry and the Single...
