GDP up by 0.6% of GDP in Eurozone and EU in third quarter of 2017

Seasonally-adjusted gross domestic product (GDP) grew by 0.6% in the third quarter of 2017, in both the Eurozone and the European Union as a whole, according to an estimate of the statistical office of the EU (Eurostat) published on Thursday 7 December 2017.

This growth is slightly lower than that recorded in the two areas in the second quarter of the same year, when it stood at 0.7% of GDP. However, the annual growth rate between the third quarter of 2016 and the third quarter of 2017 is...
