Šefčovič encourages Romania to reform its market and improve its interconnections

The vice-president of the European Commission, Maroš Šefčovič, will travel to Romania on Wednesday 27 and Thursday 28 September as part of his second Energy Union tour.  He will also attend a conference on gas interconnections in central and south-eastern Europe in Bucharest on Thursday.

The agenda of this second stage in Bucharest includes meetings with the Romanian authorities – the prime minister, Mihai Tudose, and the energy minister, Toma Petcu – and members of the competent...
