Belgium goes to CJEU over CETA and its arbitration mechanism for investment disputes

On Wednesday 6 September, Belgium made its referral to the European Court of Justice (CJEU) official, asking it to check the compatibility of CETA's arbitration mechanism for investor-state disputes (the Investment Court System - ICS) with the EU treaties.
