06/09/2017 (Agence Europe) – On Wednesday 6 September, member states’ ambassadors to the EU (Coreper) approved the extension for a further period of six months of the asset freeze and prohibition on entering the European Union imposed on 153 Russian citizens and 40 Russian companies whose actions undermine Ukraine’s territorial integrity (see EUROPE 11844). The measures were introduced in March 2014 and were last extended in March 2017 until 15 September 2017. (MB)
