On Tuesday 11 July, the committee on international trade of the European Parliament adopted, by 32 votes to 2 with 5 abstentions, Parliament's draft recommendations prepared by Spain’s Immaculada Rodríguez-Piñero Fernández (S&D) on the update of the EU/Chile association agreement of 2002 and its commercial plank. Parliament will be called upon to adopt its recommendations at the September plenary.
