15/05/2017 (Agence Europe) – The Maltese Presidency of the Council said at the special committee on agriculture (SCA) meeting on Monday 15 May that there was a qualified majority of member states on the text of the position that the EU will adopt at the forthcoming general assembly of the International Organisation of Wine and Vine (OIV) on 2 June 2017 (see EUROPE 11784). The OIV will discuss and possibly adopt resolutions that could have an effect on EU winemaking legislation. (LC)
