09/05/2017 (Agence Europe) – On Friday 5 May, the European Commission launched a public consultation on the 2010/40/EU directive on intelligent transport systems (ITS), as part of the assessment it is carrying out on the directive. The aim of the assessment is to evaluate the impact of the measure on road transport operations and the development of ITS in Europe. All the different stakeholders involved have been requested to answer a questionnaire and submit all relevant factual information and share their comments about the text.
