20/03/2017 (Agence Europe) – After Spain last week, European Commission Vice-President with responsibility for Energy Union Maros Sefcovic continues his second Energy Union tour that began at the start of February (see EUROPE 11716) with a visit to Bratislava on Monday 20 and Tuesday 21 March. After taking part, at the invitation of the Slovak government, in a high-level meeting on connected and autonomous driving cars, Sefcovic was due to examine Slovakia's implementation of the 2030 energy and climate framework with Slovak Economy Minister Peter Ziga and his colleague at Environment Laszlo Solymos. On Tuesday, the commissioner will take part in a citizens’ dialogue at the economic HNClub discussion forum, together with Slovakia’s Deputy Prime Minister Peter Pellegrini, Mayor of Bratislava Ivo Nesrovnal and members of the Slovak parliament.
