Eight countries of Central and Eastern Europe hope to maintain cohesion policy post-2020

In Warsaw on Thursday 2 March, the four countries of the Visegrad group plus Slovenia, Romania, Bulgaria and Croatia adopted a joint document in favour of renewing cohesion policy for the next financial period.

The document was adopted on the sidelines of the meeting of the commission for territorial cohesion policy and EU budget (COTER) of the Committee of the Regions, which met to adopt a crucial opinion on the post-2020 cohesion policy (see article).
