European Parliament extremely concerned by disappearance of at least 10,000 unaccompanied minors

On Wednesday 1 March, the European Parliament debated the situation involving non-accompanied minors and possible measures for dealing with the disappearance of at least 10,000 of them since their arrival in Europe, according to statistics provided by Europol.

ALDE requested this plenary session debate and urged the European Commission to present a binding European political framework in an effort to strengthen protection systems for child refugees and migrants, particularly unaccompanied...
