On Monday 21 November, the Council of Ministers of the EU adopted, without debate, the legislative acts on the agreement between the EU and Iceland on geographical indications (GIs).
The Commission and Iceland initialled two agreements on 17 September on further liberalisation of trade in agricultural products and foodstuffs and an agreement on the protection of geographical indications (see EUROPE 11392).
