Weber to be re-elected to President of EP Christian Democrat group

14/11/2016 (Agence Europe) – Manfred Weber from Germany is expected to have his presidential mandate of the EPP Group extended by his colleagues until the end of the European Parliament mandate on Wednesday 16 November.  He is currently the only official candidate, according to an internal political group source, which explained that the deadline for submitting candidacies expired on Monday 14 November at 20h00. (MB)
