EIB loan of €105 million backed by EFSI for thermal energy sector in Germany

14/11/2016 (Agence Europe) – On Monday 14 November, the European Investment Bank (EID) announced a financing agreement with the German group Stadtwerke Kiel AG (which owns several companies active in the supply of electricity, gas, heating and water in the city of Kiel, the capital of the Federal State of Schleswig-Holstein, in northern Germany) to build a thermal power plant, to be known as KIEL.
