MEPs formally request non-suspension of ESI funds for Portugal and Spain

14/11/2016 (Agence Europe) – On Wednesday 9 November, the European Parliament's Committee for Regional Development (REGI) and Committee for Economic Affairs (ECON) in a letter addressed to the Conference of Presidents of the EP, formally requested that the European Commission did not propose the suspension of commitments to Spanish and Portuguese structural and investment funds (ESI).
