14/11/2016 (Agence Europe) – On Saturday 12 November, the European Union condemned the terrorist attack in Hub, Pakistan, which has claimed 52 lives and left 105 injured, according to the latest estimates. A bomb went off during a Sufi religious ceremony. "More than 40 innocent people, including children, have been killed and many more injured, while visiting the Shah Noorani shrine in the province of Balochistan", as spokesperson for the European External Action Service said in a press release. "The sadness we share with the Pakistani people reinforces our determination to continue and strengthen our cooperation with Pakistan in fighting all forms of terrorism", the spokesperson added. The suicide bomber behind the attack was reportedly a teenager. The attack was claimed by the so-called Islamic State. (CG)
