On Thursday 26 October, MEPs urged the member states that took part in the 1996 conference on disarmament and which had nuclear reactors at that time to urgently sign and ratify the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty (CTBT) so that the key international treaty can take legal effect as soon as possible.
