EU condemns another Daesh attack in Baghdad

17/10/2016 (Agence Europe) – The spokesperson for the European External Action Service (EEAS) has condemned an attack carried out on Saturday morning 15 October against Muslims celebrating the Festival of Ashura in a Baghdad mosque. "Violence targeting innocent civilians is unacceptable", the spokesperson stated.  The suicide attack has been claimed by so-called Islamic State (Daesh) and has left 34 people dead and several dozen wounded.
