Following the ratification ceremonies for the Paris Climate Agreement, European environment ministers will have an agenda in Luxembourg on Monday 17 October that is dominated once again by the issue of climate change. This will provide them with an good opportunity for focusing on implementation of the EU and member states’ climate targets up to 2030 (reduction of at least 40% in emissions by 2030 compared to 1990 levels).
