Committee of Regions launches action plan to reduce impact of natural disasters

14/10/2016 (Agence Europe) – The Committee of the Regions (CoR) and the United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction (UNISDR) launched an action plan on Thursday 13 October, which seeks to support European cities and regions in reducing the impact of natural disasters. The objective of the plan is to encourage cities to develop risk reduction strategies by 2020.
