Germany required to transpose classification and labelling directive

30/09/2016 (Agence Europe) – On Thursday 29 September, the European Commission sent a reasoned opinion to Germany over its failure to notify transposition of the directive on the classification, labelling and packaging (CLP) of substances and mixtures (Directive 2014/27/EU) into its national legislation.  Member states' laws, regulations and administrative provisions necessary to comply with the CLP Directive had to enter into force by 1 June 2015.  (JK)
