Estonia and Poland in dock for incomplete transposition of Energy Efficiency Directive

29/09/2016 (Agence Europe) – On Thursday 29 September, the European Commission sent Estonia and Poland two further reasoned opinions regarding their incomplete transposition of the 2012/27/EU directive on energy efficiency. This was supposed to have been fully transposed into national law by 5 June 2014 at the latest. The Commission has identified persistent shortcomings in Estonian and Polish legislation regarding transposition of the directive. Both countries have two months to comply...
