The 39th General Assembly of the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) in Montreal comes to an end on 7 October. Speaking at the assembly on Wednesday 28 September, European Commissioner for Transport Violetta Bulc appealed for broader participation as soon as possible from ICAO members in the market mechanism that is due to be adopted to ensure neutral carbon growth in the sector through the improvement of technologies and compensation of its emissions by other sectors, as from...
