Registration of two new product denominations

23/09/2016 (Agence Europe) – On 16 September, the European Commission published a regulation registering an entry in the register of protected appellations of origin and protected geographical indications for protected geographical indications (PGI): Sicilia, an extra-virgin Italian olive oil was registered as a PGI.  On 20 September, the Commission published a regulation registering a French PGI, Saucisson sec d'Auvergne/Saucisse sèche d'Auvergne.  (LC)
