Timing of strategy for EU remote regions firms up

In a speech at the annual conference of presidents of remote regions in Madeira on Friday 23 September, Regional Policy Commissioner Corina Cretu announced that the European Commission will unveil its strategy for remote regions in September 2017 after a forum.
