European coastguard and border guard Corps soon to be up and running

15/09/2016 (Agence Europe) – On Wednesday 14 September, the Council of the EU definitively approved the creation of the European coastguard and border guard agency, which will be based on the current agency Frontex, which manages the external borders of the European Union (see EUROPE 11588).
