Testbiotech (Institute for Independent Impact Assessment in Biotechnology) announced on Wednesday 14 September that it had written to the European Commission to formally ask it to re-examine its decision to authorise, for use in the EU, three genetically modified soybeans by Bayer and Monsanto that are likely to have been treated with cocktails of glyphosate and other herbicides (see EUROPE 11607, 11999).
