Brussels, 07/07/2016 (Agence Europe) - The European Parliament believes that the gravity of the continuing persecution in Myanmar of certain minorities, such as the Rohingya Muslims, demands “immediate remedies”. This view was expressed in a joint resolution from the ECR, Greens/EFA, EFDD, EPP, S&D, ALDE and GUE/NGL Groups that was adopted on Thursday 7 July.
