07/06/2016 (Agence Europe) - EBRD assists government with technical aspects of its insolvency legislation. The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) announced on Friday 3 June that it would assist Tunisia in drafting its insolvency legislation. On 16 April, the Tunisian Assembly of Representatives passed a specific law on this matter. The bank intends to hire a company or group of companies to assist the Tunisian government to set out the technical provisions. It has launched a call for technical assistance (deadline 24 June) to prepare a legal analysis of the profession of conciliator and the drafting of new laws and regulations, and to put in place training for this speciality.
