EPP Group wants more free quotas and more funding for industrial innovation in ETS reform

Brussels, 04/05/2016 (Agence Europe) - Respecting the EU's international climate obligations while safeguarding the competitiveness of European industry and its potential for job creation: that is the position that the EPP Group in the European Parliament will argue in the legislative discussions on the reform of the emissions trading system (ETS) for the period from 2021 to 2030 proposed by the Commission in July 2015 (see EUROPE 11360).
