Brussels, 15/04/2016 (Agence Europe) - Spain is by far the biggest shark fishing country in the EU. This product is much appreciated on the lucrative Asian shark's fin market.
The report on the regulations on the removal of fins of sharks on-board vessels published on Friday 15 April by the European Commission shows that Spain landed more than 60,000 t of shark in 2013, which is more than France's 15,000 t. For 2014, the figures are stable, with 59,251 t of Spain (no 2014 figures for France...
