08/04/2016 (Agence Europe) - First successful truck platooning. The first European truck platooning was successfully achieved on Wednesday 6 April without any glitches or technical problems. Lorries from a number of constructors (DAF, Daimler, Iveco, MAN, Scania and Volvo) set off for Rotterdam from various locations and dates (from Stockholm, Göterborg, Stuttgart, Munich and Brussels (see EUROPE 11516).
