Brussels, 06/01/2015 (Agence Europe) - At the end of December, the European Living Schools Lab (LSL) project published recommendations to promote the development of new technologies in schools. These recommendations are based on the observations made by experts during their visits to educational institutions in participating countries.
Experts say that a new vision of teaching should be promoted that is more connected and interconnected to the outside world. The experts also say that the biggest challenge to meet involved in this change will be the utilisation of technology. They underline the importance of exchanges in good practices between schools as another aspect to develop in the construction of the schools of the future.
LSL is a project that has been developed over a two-year period and benefits from financial support from the European Commission. It seeks to develop and spread the innovative use of information and communication technologies (ICT) in primary and secondary schools. It began in October 2012 and incorporates 12 countries: Austria, Belgium, Cyprus, Finland, France, Ireland, Italy, Lithuania, Norway, Portugal, Czech Republic and the United Kingdom. (IL)
