Netherlands targeted for non-respect of social rights

Brussels, 10/11/2014 (Agence Europe) - On Monday 10 November, the European Committee for Social Rights (ECSR) concluded that the Netherlands was not respecting its commitments under the European Social Charter regarding the homeless and illegal immigrants.

The ECSR has made two different decisions regarding the Netherlands. The first follows the examination of a complaint lodged by the European Federation of National Organisations Working with the Homeless (FEANTSA). This deems that...
