Strengthening health safety and labelling

Brussels, 10/11/2014 (Agence Europe) - The EU and Algeria last week launched three cooperation projects to strengthen health safety, protection and labelling of agricultural products and products of agricultural origin. The EU has provided €5 million for this purpose.

Implementation of this so-called “twinning” operation has been put in the hands of two member states - France and Italy - which will, for a two-year period, support the reforms put in train by Algeria. (FB)
