28/08/2014 (Agence Europe) - Constellium - Tri-Arrows joint venture given go-ahead. On Wednesday 27 August, the European Commission gave the go-ahead to the creation of a joint venture, Quiver Ventures LLC, by Tri-Arrows Aluminium Holding Inc. (United States) and Constellium NV (the Netherlands). Quiver Ventures, based in Kentucky in the United States, will manufacture and sell aluminium flat-rolled products for automotive body-in-white. Constellium manufactures and sells rolled and extruded aluminium and related products. Tri-Arrows manufactures and sells rolled aluminium can sheets. The Commission concluded that the deal would not raise competition concerns because Quiver Ventures will have no foreseeable activities within the European Economic Area. (EL)
