Italy summoned to recover levies owed by milk producers

Brussels, 10/07/2014 (Agence Europe) - On Thursday 10 July, the European Commission announced that it has decided, as we suggested it would in issue EUROPE 11114, to send Italy a reasoned opinion (warning letter) because it has not recovered the levies owed by Italian dairy farmers for exceeding their production quotas in the 1995 to 2009 marketing years.
