Aid for Adria Airways, Airbaltic and SAS given thumbs-up

Brussels, 10/07/2014 (Agence Europe) - On Wednesday 9 July, the European Commission gave the go-ahead to restructuring aid for airlines Adria Airways, AirBaltic and SAS.

The Commission says that the state aid from Slovenia for Adria Airways in 2011 complies with EU state aid rules, as do the capital injections of €15 million in 2007, 2009 and 2010.

The European Commission said that the restructuring aid from Latvia for AirBaltic in 2011 and 2012 complies with EU state aid rules.
