Brussels, 31/03/2014 (Agence Europe) - The EU is now well plkaced to reach the strategic target of halving road deaths between 2010 and 2020. On Monday 31 March, the European Commission announced that, in 2013, the number of road fatalities decreased by 8% compared to 2012, following the record 9% decrease between 2011 and 2012. There has been a 17% decrease since the beginning of the decade. The next goal will be to reduce the number of people injured, with a new strategy in 2015.
