Brussels, 31/03/2014 (Agence Europe) - The EU fish market report 2014, which was published by the European Commission on Monday 31 March, shows that the EU is a major market for the consumption of seafood products, 12.3 million tonnes , worth €52.2 billion in 2011. The EU is the world's largest importer of seafood products, making up 24% of the total value of world trade, the report confirms.
