Exemplary urban transport in Rivas Vaciamadrid and Ljubljana

Brussels, 25/03/2014 (Agence Europe) - The winner of the Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan Award for 2013 is Rivas Vaciamadrid in Spain and the winner of the European Mobility Week Award is Ljubljana in Slovenia. At the award ceremony in Brussels on 24 March, Commissioner for the Environment Janez Potocnik said: “Sustainable cities are essential if we are to ensure their liveability for future generations”.
