12/02/2014 (Agence Europe) - Loan for water and waste water infrastructure in Chisinau. On Friday 7 February, the European Investment Bank (EIB), European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), and the European Union, through the Neighbourhood Investment Facility, granted a loan for the modernisation of water and waste water infrastructure in Chisinau. The EBRD and the EIB will each provide loans of €24 million to the city's water and wastewater utility, Apa Canal Chisinau, while the EU will contribute up to €11 million. The same day, the EIB committed to continuing and improving its support to agriculture and horticulture in Moldova. (OL/transl.fl)
