Brussels, 21/01/2014 (Agence Europe) - On 21 January, several NGOs, including Amnesty International, called on the Greek Presidency of the EU to tackle breaches of fundamental rights and ensure that the EU provides a robust response to this kind of issue.
Amnesty has issued the Greek Presidency and Commissioner Malmström with a number of recommendations focusing on the way in which migrants are treated. The commissioner met Amnesty Secretary General Salil Shetty on Monday.
