Brussels, 31/05/2013 (Agence Europe) - Greece and Belgium have had seven years in which to ratify the agreement between the European Union, its member states and the Western Balkans, an agreement for the creation of a common aviation area signed in June 2006. The Commission has now lost patience and is threatening the two states that the matter will be referred to the Court of Justice of the European Union unless they present the ratification instruments for the agreement within the next two months. The European Commission regrets the fact that the situation caused by these two countries has a negative impact on the opening of aviation markets with the Western Balkans. (MD/transl.jl)
