31/05/2013 (Agence Europe) - Prolonging suspension of duties for wheat and barley. On Friday 31 May, the European Commission said it refused to prolong the current suspension of customs duties applying to tariff quotas existing for low and medium quality soft wheat and barley beyond 30 June 2013 (see EUROPE 10720). The normal duties will apply from 1 July (€12/tonne for wheat and €16/tonne for barley. (LC/transl.jl)
