18/03/2013 (Agence Europe) -Burgas attack - Bulgaria will leave it up to its partners to decide whether to include Hezbollah on the list of terrorist organisations. The interim prime minister of Bulgaria, Marin Raikov, speaking to the state radio station BNR on 16 March, indicated that “Bulgaria will not be beginning proceedings (for putting Hezbollah on the list of terrorist organisations). We will simply be presenting the objective facts and circumstances and our European partners will decide”. Bulgaria has said Hezbollah was involved in the attack on a bus in Burgas in July, which killed six people. The United Kingdom and the Netherlands are in favour of including this organisation on the list, while France, for example, is more reticent about this approach. A French source explained that this question is “very complicated”. The source also pointed out that there are elements regarding individuals clearly linked to Hezbollah (who took part in the attack) and noted that “we can target individuals”, adding, however, that there is no “clear indication of the chain of command”.
