On Tuesday 22 March, the European Commission gave clearance for the proposed concentration whereby the undertaking AVIC Automobile Industry Co. Ltd (China), a 100% subsidiary of Aviation Industry Corporation of China, plans to acquire full control of the undertaking Pacific Century Motors Co. Ltd (China), by way of purchase of shares. AVIC designs, manufactures and sells automotive components. Pacific Century Motors designs, manufactures and sells steering products and half-shaft components for automotive vehicles.
