03/03/2011 (Agence Europe) - The go-ahead has been granted for the takeover of STMC6 by EDF and ATIC Services. On Thursday 3 March, the European Commission authorised the joint takeover of the Société du Terminal MC6 by EDF Trading Logistics and ATIC Services, because the operation does not significantly impede effective competition in the European Economic Area or in any substantial part of it. STMC6 has recently been set up and will be transferred to the Terminal MC6 at the Grand Port Maritime in Le Havre, together with appropriate equipment tools. EDF Trading Logistics is a subsidiary of this EDTF, a specialist in logistic services for dry bulk products and fuel and is also a subsidiary of the EDF energy group.
