“Stress tests” on soundness of European banks will be published by end of July

Brussels, 17/06/2010 (Agence Europe) - EU heads of state and government decided, on Thursday 17 June, that the tests used to analyse the soundness of the main European banks would be made public for the first time. They also said that each member state would levy a bank tax whatever the results of the G20 summit in Toronto.
